Frequently Asked Questions

1. What if it rains when your due to arrive?

DBH Pristine Windows will endeavour to still carry out the work, it will depend of how heavy or intermittent the rain is. As we work on a personal level we will get in contact to let you know if it will still be possible to carry out the clean or if we will need to reschedule with you. We do still work in the rain if it is light enough, however it may alter the time we can get to you.

2. How often should I get my windows cleaned?

Generally speaking most of our customers houses are cleaned once every 2 months. The windows will be just starting to look dirtier by then. However many factors can alter this. For example if you live on a street with a high traffic flow going through it then they will get dirty again quicker than a quieter residential area would. Some customers opt for longer gaps between cleans, but if you eave a longer gap they will require more work to bring them back to their best each time and could mean the price would be higher for you. It is ultimately up to the customer, but the best answer to this question would be to please ask us when we’re with you so we can give you an informed opinion.

3. Do you clean high rise flats?

In most cases, if you live on a 4th floor (5 levels from the ground) then working from the outside will be tricky. Due to this many windows have been installed so that they can be cleaned from the inside. Your windows will still receive the same quality of work as a ground floor window would but would be carried out from inside the property. If your unsure if the windows can be cleaned like this then we can arrange a visit to confirm if this is something we can do, but usually the answer is yes!

4. Will I need to be home when you come round?

Generally yes, we will expect to meet someone there. We insist on this because you are fully aware of everything during our visit and can give us any required access. We also need you to be present to enable us to book your next clean there and then. It will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. It all helps our business run smoother!

5. Is DBH Pristine Windows insured?

Yes, we are an insured window cleaning company. We have public liability insurance should we ever need it, but to now, that safety net has never been used as we carry out our work in the safest way possible.

6. Can I book a one-off clean?

Absolutely! Just specify to us that is what you want and we’ll gladly facilitate you.

7. How long does the cleaning process take?

It can be difficult to put exact timing on things and there are many variables. The first clean will always take us a bit longer but in general a terraced 3 bedroom house with 2 levels will take around an hour to an hour and a half.
